As a Physical Therapist, Helen Balzli has been treating patients in Central for more than 30 years. As an owner, Balzli has built Central Physical Therapy into one of the most successful PT Clinics in the region. You could call Balzli the “heart and soul” of CPT and rightfully so. A teen-age brain injury patient herself, physical therapy was a big part of Balzli’s recovery after car wreck that left her in a coma and paralyzed on one side. She knows the frustration people feel when they’re in pain and unable to function the way they could before. She also living proof they can get better.
If helping people is Helen Balzli’s passion, then PT and co-owner Tom Coplin is the man behind the plan. Meticulous in his efforts to ensure every aspect of the practice results in patient satisfaction, Coplin knows his profession having owned and operated as many as 8 Physical Therapy clinics at one time. His experience will play a key role in the future expansion of Central Physical Therapy. Together with a staff of highly trained, experienced PT, PT-Assistants and PT-Technicians, Coplin and Balzli have built a PT practice a level of expertise rarely found in one clinic. Their vision for the future is as ambitious as their drive to excellence in PT care.
Central Physical Therapy is embarking on a $9.5 million dollar expansion. The new facilities to be built at its current location will include a new PT clinic with an aquatics therapy center, a 20,000 square foot indoor sports complex and training center. As the original owner, Balzli has worked hard to make sure patients at Central Physical Therapy always receive the best possible care. As their clinic grows and keeps pace with the needs of one of the fastest growing cities in the state, Balzli, Coplin and their dedicated staff will continue their commitment to the City of Central and their patients.
