    Accompanied and instructed patients’ performance throughout the physical therapist’s plan of care, performed modalities such as ultrasound, phonophoresis, hot and cold packs, electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, and lumbar and cervical traction

CLINICAL EXPERIENCES:

  • Our Lady of the Lake Hospital (Inpatient Rehabilitation): Mastered skills such as transfers, bed mobility, gait, static and dynamic balance activities, managing lines/tubes/drains, therapeutic exercise, and therapeutic positioning.
  • Central Physical Therapy (Outpatient Clinic): Implemented therapeutic exercises within the plan of care and further progression of exercises, mastered use of modalities such as cold compression devices, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, and soft tissue massage; gained experience in concussion management programs.
  • Old Jefferson Community Care Center (Skilled Nursing Facility): Performed bed mobility, transfers, wheelchair mobility, therapeutic exercise, static and dynamic balance/coordination activities, gait, breathing exercises, air casting, fall recovery training, and community education.
  • North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital (Outpatient Services): Carried out plan of care through therapeutic exercise instruction and manual stretching techniques; performed hivamat and ultrasound modalities.

PERSONAL:

Sarah Casemore is from the Watson area. She is married and has an 8 year old daughter. In her personal time she enjoys fishing, playing tennis and spending quality time with her family.
